On August 4, Chairman Yan Shengjun welcomed the delegation of Guo Yufeng, Mayor of Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, at CNTY’s headquarters in Hai’an. During the visiting, the two sides discussed in depth the prospects of cooperation between CNTY and Tongliao in the fields of gravity energy storage, wind power generation and photovoltaic power generation.
Chairman Yan introduced to the guests the new energy industry ecology being built by CNTY, and reported on the growth of new energy business such as gravity energy storage, large-scale ground solar farms and wind parks. He said that Tongliao is rich in wind and solar resources and has a huge demand for investment and construction of gravity energy storage, wind power and photovoltaic power projects. CNTY hopes to introduce its world-leading gravity energy storage technology and new energy development resources into Tongliao and promote the development of its new energy industry chain.
Guo Yufeng expressed that Tongliao is actively promoting the construction of centralized wind and photovoltaic projects based on its rich wind and solar energy resources. He pointed out that CNTY’s gravity energy storage technology was impressive, and he invited CNTY’s technical team to visit Tongliao so as to explore project potentials that are beneficial for both sides as well as for the economy, society and environment.
On August 5, accompanied by Lu Ping, Vice President of CNTY and Chairman of Jiangsu Nengying New Energy Technology Development Co. Ltd, Mayor Guo Yufeng and his delegation went to Rudong to visit the construction site of the first 100MWh gravity energy storage project introduced and implemented by CNTY.
