At 10:18 a.m. August 9th 2021, the No. 1 boiler of the Pingyi Waste-to-Energy Power Plant was successfully ignited, marking the official commissioning stage of the project.
The plant is a PPP project between China Tianying and the People's Government of Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province. With a total investment of RMB 310 million from Ping Yi Tianying Environmental Energy Co., wholly-owned subsidiary of China Tianying, the 600t/d project is designed to include 2 x 300t/d mechanical grate waste incinerators, 2 x 24t/h medium temperature and medium pressure waste heat boilers and 1 x 12MW condensing turbine generator set, equipped with corresponding flue gas purification and leachate treatment systems.
After putting into operation, the plant will be able to treat 219,000 tonnes of waste per year and generate 74.4 million kWh of electricity, playing a positive role in improving the ecological environment of Pingyi County.
